Hewlett Packard Enterprise has reportedly secured a deal worth over $1 billion to supply servers optimized for artificial intelligence to Elon Musk‘s social media platform, X.

The deal between HP and X was finalized late last year.

The servers are tailored for AI applications, a segment witnessing robust demand from enterprises. Competitors Dell Technologies and Super Micro Computer also vied for the contract.

The market for AI servers has been expanding, with businesses increasingly looking for hardware that can support artificial intelligence applications. Companies under Musk’s leadership, including Tesla and xAI, have become prominent clients for such hardware.
