Banana Cheesecake Parfait

Banana Cheesecake Parfait 🍌🍰

Ingredients:

For the cheesecake layer:

8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened 🧀
1/2 cup granulated sugar 🍚
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🍨
1 cup heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks 🍶
For the banana layer:

3 ripe bananas, sliced 🍌
2 tablespoons lemon juice 🍋
2 tablespoons brown sugar 🍯
For the graham cracker crust:

1 cup graham cracker crumbs 🍪
2 tablespoons granulated sugar 🍚
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 🧈

For garnish (optional):

Whipped cream 🍶
Sliced bananas 🍌
Crushed graham crackers 🍪
Caramel sauce 🍮
Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the cheesecake layer: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined. Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is light and fluffy. Set aside. 🍚🍨🍶

2️⃣ Prepare the banana layer: In a medium bowl, toss the sliced bananas with lemon juice to prevent browning. Sprinkle with brown sugar and toss again to coat the bananas evenly. 🍌🍋🍯

3️⃣ Make the graham cracker crust: In a small bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated and the mixture resembles wet sand. 🍪🧈

4️⃣ Assemble the parfaits: In individual serving glasses or bowls, layer the ingredients starting with a spoonful of the graham cracker crust mixture at the bottom. Add a layer of the cheesecake mixture, followed by a layer of the sliced bananas. Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled, ending with a layer of cheesecake on top. 🍨🍌

5️⃣ Garnish and serve: Top each parfait with a dollop of whipped cream, a few slices of banana, a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers, and a drizzle of caramel sauce, if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. 🍶🍮
