Steak with Shrimp & Lobster Sauce

Ingredients:

For the Steak:
2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 sprig fresh rosemary or thyme
For the Shrimp & Lobster Sauce:
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

Prepare the Steak:
Season the steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.
Add the butter, minced garlic, and rosemary or thyme to the skillet.
Spoon the melted butter and garlic over the steaks as they cook for additional flavor.
Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate, tented with foil.
Prepare the Shrimp & Lobster Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Pour in the white wine or chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Let the liquid reduce by half, then stir in the heavy cream.
Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
Return the cooked shrimp and lobster meat to the skillet, stirring to combine.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve:

Place the steaks on serving plates.
Spoon the shrimp and lobster sauce over the steaks.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Enjoy your Steak with Shrimp & Lobster Sauce—a luxurious and flavorful dish perfect for any special occasion!
