Blackberry Iced Tea
Cool down this summer with our refreshing Blackberry Iced Tea delicious blend of flavors that will brighten any warm day!
Ingredients:
– 1 cup fresh blackberries (plus more for garnish)
– 4 cups water
– 1/4 cup agave syrup (adjust to taste)
– 4 black tea bags or 4 tsp loose leaf tea
– A handful of fresh basil leaves
– 1-2 fresh rosemary sprigs
– Ice cubes
– Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil the water and steep the black tea for 5 minutes, adding the rosemary and basil during the last 2 minutes.
2. Strain the tea into a pitcher and let it cool to room temperature.
3. Muddle the blackberries in a bowl and strain through a fine sieve into the pitcher. Stir in the agave syrup until well mixed.
4. Chill the tea in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
5. Serve over ice and garnish with blackberries and herbs, adding a lemon slice if desired. Enjoy!
