French Dip Crescents
Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2 lb deli roast beef, thinly sliced
4 slices provolone cheese, halved
1/2 cup French fried onions
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 packet au jus gravy mix
2 cups water
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles.
Place a few slices of roast beef and a half slice of provolone cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with French fried onions.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
While the crescent rolls are baking, prepare the au jus according to the package instructions, using 2 cups of water.
Serve the crescent rolls warm with the au jus for dipping.
