Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

Ingredients:
1 lb pasta (such as fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Extra grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Chicken:

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce begins to thicken slightly.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
Combine Everything:

Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet, stirring to coat it in the sauce.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated in the sauce.
Serve:

Garnish the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta with chopped fresh parsley and extra grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
Serve hot with a side of garlic bread or a fresh salad for a complete meal. Enjoy the rich, creamy flavors in every bite!
