Butter Chicken
Ingredients:
500g chicken, cut into pieces
1 cup yogurt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 teaspoon chili powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons butter
1 large onion, chopped
2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
1 cup tomato puree
1/2 cup fresh cream
2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
Marinate Chicken: Mix yogurt, lemon juice, turmeric, garam masala, chili powder, and salt. Add chicken and marinate for 2 hours.
Cook Chicken: Heat butter in a pan, cook marinated chicken until browned. Remove and set aside.
Prepare Sauce: In the same pan, sauté onions until golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
Combine: Add chicken to the sauce, cook for 10 minutes. Stir in fresh cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
Garnish: Sprinkle with coriander leaves and serve hot.
