Scallops in Lemon Wine Sauce
Ingredients:
1 lb large sea scallops
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare Scallops:
Pat the scallops dry with paper towels . Season both sides with salt and pepper

Sear Scallops:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat . Add the scallops, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded
. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside

Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter . Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant
. Pour in the white wine, chicken broth, and lemon juice
. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes to slightly reduce the sauce.
Combine and Serve:
Return the scallops to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them . Cook for an additional minute to heat through. Garnish with chopped parsley
and lemon slices
