Ingredients:
• 2 racks of baby back ribs
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon paprika
• 1 tablespoon chili powder
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for a kick)
• 2 cups barbecue sauce
• 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
Directions:
1. Prepare the Ribs: Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub this spice mix all over the ribs.
2. Bake the Ribs: Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover them tightly with another piece of foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender.
3. Make the Sauce: In a saucepan, combine barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
4. Grill the Ribs: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove ribs from the oven and brush generously with the barbecue sauce mixture. Grill for about 5-7 minutes per side, basting frequently, until the ribs are nicely caramelized.
5. Serve: Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before cutting. Serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
