Perfect Steak Butter
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, and lemon juice.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste; mix until well combined.
Transfer the butter mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap; shape into a log.
Roll the plastic wrap tightly around the butter log; twist the ends to seal.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
Slice the butter into rounds and place a slice on top of hot grilled or pan-seared steak just before serving.
Allow the butter to melt slightly over the steak for a flavorful finishing touch.
Notes :
Customize the herb blend according to your taste preferences; rosemary or chives can also be great additions.
Make extra steak butter and freeze it for future use; it’s a convenient way to add flavor to grilled meats.
Let the steak rest for a few minutes after cooking before adding the butter to allow the juices to redistribute.
